Thinking Faith on Francis
There's a post at the British Jesuit site, Thinking Faith, on the new pope - Habemus Papam Franciscum by Nicholas King SJ - that gives an indication of how some Jesuits feel about things - a good read.

I like the idea that people's immediate positive response (including my own), their "upsurge of optimism" suggests the presence of the Holy Spirit in the selection. Thanks for the continued updates :)

Yes, I guess that's like what Ignatius calls "consolation" - an increase in hope, faith, and love that seems to say we're heading in the right direction.
